From a design standpoint, would this help with release from the water? I'm not the brightest, but I imagine a smooth flat surface would make some kind of vacuum or suction effect. Would the dimples helps with release since more air bubbles or something?

Steven M, that is why golf balls have their concave dimples... so that might be right. i was thinking about this, and its either to make a faster base because of the lack of vacuum effect/ or it could be to slow it down? i ride the fortenberry and man its base is fast! so it seems erich had already achieved an extremely fast base, so maybe the team actually wanted a slightly slower one? just thoughts...

I as well. I'm definitely picking up a Randy Harris pro model this time around. I'd buy an Integrity skate but anything below 42" feels way too small for me. I'm probably in the minority on this one. Favorite skate I ever rode was a 43" wood Mutiny flat deck from 2003. Think Cassette but wider/heavier/less-tapered-at-the-ends with a polyethylene base.

Anyway... Glad to see new things coming out from Integ/Mutiny!!!

There's an explanation for it on the mutiny fb page. I thought it had to do with reducing drag. But then i always think back to hearing something about simplicity and water only wanting to travel in one direction under the board. But i am not a designer.

Grouch, if you thought about some lame dirtbag dude saying that about your daughters or wife, your joke might not seem as funny. Just a thought.

I just don't think these integrity threads will ever be 70 pages long. With so many new board choices readily available, i feel like people got tired of waiting for a board. Add in nick's move to remote and i think that changed things for people too. It's always fun to see what's in store with these brands though.

And nothing will make a thread better than having seinfeld references!

It's not mom-ish, but more about just being a decent person. I can respect things like your loyalty to this brand, but i think alexxx's joke kind of hit the nail on the head.

Remember wakeboards with phasers on the bottom? That was a selling point back then.

This has nothing to with brand loyalty, it's about you knowing me do well where you can call me out as not being a good person.

Your one of the reasons I stopped coming to this site & this just affirms it!!!

Grouch... you are starting to sound pathetic. Talking shizzle about someone's mom is about as disrespectful as you can get. It's time to get a new joke... and grow the fvck up.

The day that Grouch can't talk about people's moms anymore is the day that I quit wakeskating.
