Varial Flips

I have always been a fan of Nick Taylor's varial flips, but I've never really liked Byerly's or Brandon Thomas'

I agree that good looking hardflips are VERY far and few between. Same with frontside flips. Only a couple guys make them look great and do them where they dont flop around on the water.

I love all three of the above mentioned tricks, but some riders make them look better than others.

Body Varials and Sex Changes are the only tricks that should be banned from wakeskating imo

I personally enjoy the body varial, and felt that move had a resurgence over the past season or two.

But yes, i never liked sex changes. That's a good nomination for permanent maneuver banishment.

My opinion is yes you are bitter.

Tricks can be done good or bad, to dislike a trick as a whole, is well...... a little poopy.

I will take a stand for everyone reading this, the majority of people, including me who cannot do a varial flip, and will strive to one day do this trick, not to look awseome or steezy for the other viewers eye, but to progress to the next easiest flip trick after a kickflip.

Am i supposed to skip learning a varial flip and fall countless times over again coming impossibly close to landing another trick? no.

I am going to learn a v flip and stomp one clean, not for the viewers eye but for the feeling under my feet, and the beautiful sight of a new rotation.

I, however, wakeskate for myself, not for others. This is because I have no choice, i currently live in st.louis missouri, trying to explain wakeskating (without using the word wakeboarding) still confuses people and may result in this or this .

However i am doing a 30 second pitch to angel investors concerning an innovative winch i created.

p.s. - my favorite v-flip was from in its travels, i beleive it may have been brandon rau, down some gap with a winch , think it was rau, may have been a closer, i remember green shizzle in the water, and flat glass like water

Hard flips look pretty sick. I have yet to see or do one flicked and caught like a skateboard. I want to see Collin Do one like he does on a skateboard.

I think varial flips are fun when they're sticked clean. Popped flats varials.
