I have one, the wood isn't as solid as metal obviously but its not to bad. Only problem I've had was a friend not cutting the winch fast enough and the handle got sucked in which screwed up the threads in the spool, I fixed it by turning the spool a bit and drilling new holes, but if that ends up happening again I'm gonna have to get a new spool, and I'll probably get a metal one. |

I have one. It works great. The only thing I changed is the fair-lead the plastic ones wear out pretty fast if you pull from any angle.i replaced it with a warn hawse fair-lead. I mostly beach winch so the light frame makes it easy to set up.the spool works good to i can use my hand to stop it since it has a smooth finished. i'm 225 and i can deep water no problem. its a good winch for a good price. |

I think they are making wing suits to make it easier to scope out new spots. |
