Sorry I never responded to this, no its got an 1/8th HDPE on top, so it slides amazing across the top. I wanted thicker, but found 8 sheets for a price you wouldnt believe. I built from the pontoons up but honestly building the box first would have worked just as well.

Can't stress it enough to fill the toons with water.

UPDATE:

I found 1/2 inch 5x8 sheets of acrylic for $15 a sheet. This weekend the pontoon box is complete for real.

This thing is for sale! Its in prefect shape, can trailer on pontoon trailer, no joke, bad to the bone.

I have a new rail project, so this is 1.0, and I'm selling to invest in 2.0

I have a trailer that is not for sale with it, but might be willing to deliver depending on the distance.

20ft long, height can be adjusted, 4" pvc rail on one side, trex on other, surface is 3/4" acrylic, slides AMAZING, each sheet would be $300 a piece.

Its as amazing as it looks!

Taking offers

Love it! Ballast idea is so clutch as well. So bummed that my mom and I basically just gave away our old pontoon boat for literally nothing and then I read this. I think I'm going to make something like this in the winter ($ depending) that actually has a few options on each side and maybe even a box over an old outboard engine. How sick would that be for convergence and other events. Tow it up, drop it in and then drive it to the event site. I'd have to watch the weight but shizzle I'm getting excited. If only I caught this a few months ago. Awesome job bud.

Any takers in Central FL? I am going to take it apart and sell as floating dock on CL this weekend if not.

I'll sell to a wakeskater for $450, the top sheets alone are worth that
