My brother has a pair of nike 6.0 mavrk LR shoes laying around the house. Are these any good for wake skating? Would they hold to much water? http://www.buywake.com/catalog/detail/513676006

the original Mavrk's are fun to skate in so these are probably even better. they look thinner whereas the original hold quite a bit of water.

I've rocked the same pair of faded torn braatas for well over two seasons now, I would say they're just getting broken in Smile

jcoffey, i fvcking love my braatas. my first pair have been destroyed (skated 2 seasons and worn the most of every week. also my gf put them in the dryer for 40hrs and the soles came off Crying or Very sad )

Jpage, there is no need to buy brand new shoes just yet. people rock so many different types of skate shoes while shredding it's ridiculous so you might as well use the ones you already have and see what you like and dont like about them. i just saw yesterday on instagram someone barefooting a kflip. dont let anything hold you back from shredding my friend.
