OK OK if you know anyone that is bigger then me and can get up and do shovits, and clear the wake and 180's call them up to go wakeskate, I am 6'8 but it is that time to get a new wakeskate, my new 41 Pastura has seen it's better days and I am looking for a 43 or a 44 for my big man syndrome so if anyone has shaq's number call him up and tell him to go out on the boat! All of the other wakeskate companies make a 41 but it is too small haha, help me out! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I'd rather buy a skate from a company that has a team and somehow supports riders - not New.

Jake S,
New sells a great board that last twice as long for half that price? sounds like they are supporting riders my not killing their wallet...

Haven't seen one in a couple years myself.. but I'm pretty sure New is his only option unless you know of a better company with a sick team that puts out a solid 44" wood concave?

Ask Virtue to make one for you! I'm sure he'd work with you man, he's chill and it says "custom sizes available"...not expensive either. I have one and I love it. Smile

TKWakeskator: are you very heavy at that height? cuz if you're a bean pole i'd probably go with like a 42", cuz the longer they get the harder its gonna be to spin that puppy. and if you've riden a 41" in the past i dont know if i'd jump to a 44". but thats just my opinion. i weigh 210 at 6'4" and ride anything between 39 to 41 but even 42 feels to big for me.
peligro18: New is a much much better skate than an anthem or faction. im always a fan of not giving crappy stuff to new riders. i feel like just starting them on decent stuff is how they will catch on then progress much faster. again, thats my opinion. there it be...

my first wakeskate was a mogley, you don't need the cheese or whatever. Just the normal wood concave will last you for a while
