I was asking for you peligro. I realy think before you spend money on a new engine you should try out some different size sprockets. I'm pretty sure it's a #35 chain. Check out the sprockets at cometkarts.com. Order a couple in sizes smaller than you have now. Make sure to get ones that say split, two piece, or quick change.

i actually did that

before with the 35chain
12t diametro 1.62
55t diametro 6.90

now with the chain40

10t diametro 1.83
40t diametro 6.65

and i am gonna change the tav 10t for a 8t diameter 1.50

thats gonna make me go faster

if you change both sprockets, wont that keep you in the same spot as far as speed/torque? The sprockets function based on their sizes relative to eachother, no? Also, the size of the spool comes into play, right? If you want to go faster, why not just make the spool bigger?

I can not stress enough, the diameter of the sprocket does not matter, it's all about the number of teeth and the corresponding ratio, the engine sees the same load for the same ratio and has no idea what size chain you are using, that being said #40 is a heavier duty and likely longer lasting chain than a #35

well i couldnt fit the 8t chain40 in the tav so i make buy a 50t sproket

according to my math i should have bought the 47T so i can have the same rpms proportion if tav sproket and spool sproket ...but they didnt have the 47t

with this change my ratio will be in 5:1

supermanotorious what you do to make the rider faster?
i am gonna do the spool rope thing
