here is one

i think wearing the gopro helps me see where im going wrong too

more patience

more of a nike swoosh (to keep from throwing the nose straight down) (ending with my foot up and away...not down)

more practice

any other suggestions would be awesome

pop the board fs a little to counteract it turning bs on you and try flicking more off the spot on the board where the end of the concave meets the beginning of the kicktail.

Pop Tart - Whenever you flick out try not to actually transfer weight to your front foot when flicking. When you transfer you body weight forward when trying to flick out. The board do that nose dive thing alot and you will travel past the board with it dumping behind you.

I think of it as more of a tap or smack on the board, get my drift? Its kinda like the difference between punching and smacking. When throw a punch you really lay into it by transferring all your weight into the object your hitting. You don't want to do that. laying your weight into your front foot while flicking will leave you traveling farther than the board and it dumping behind you every time.

I try and plant all my weight on my back foot before i pop to ensure i dont transfer alot of weight to my front foot when "flicking" or should i say "tapping" the board to get it to flip.

Foot placement always helps too, I would experiment with different foot placements and see what yields the best results.

It also looks like your flicking alot out. Try to think of the down and almost backwards flick motion and see if that helps as well. When I started thinking of the flick like that, that's when the board actually started to completely flip instead of only halfway.

Just some suggestions, hope it helps

I notice what helps me is doing an ollie or two in the kickflip position (with my front foot around the same spot as my bs shuv position, but heel hanging off slightly).

When I'm ready to actually do the kickflip I ollie, kick, and focus on landing. I pop the ollie and when I feel I'm at the highest point of the pop I kick the board(waiting for the high point helps keep the board under me), watch for the top to spin around, and try to spot my feet on the board and land.

I always mess up when trying to flip the board too soon. Sometimes it feels like it's not going to make it around, but hang on, follow through and it'll happen.
That's what works for me, but everybody's different.
