Does anyone know a way to hook up or tie a rope to a pwc seat rail without messing it up?

what do you mean by seat rail? Are you referring to a handle on the back of a pwc that is bolted in near the very back below or near the seat?

If so I would make Sure its strong enough to to take the load of someone being pulled without it being ripped out. Me friend did that that on his yamaha since he didnt have an eyelet to attach his rope to, since he just looped the rope through itself to attach it (putting the handle end through the loop at the opposite end) it worked okay. Over time it did scuff the plastic a little.

If your real particular about it you could use something as a barrier between the rope and rail such as maybe tennis racquet grip or duct tape.

Thanks man I guess I'll just keep using the tow hook. I was gonna try tying the rope to the seat rail/seat handle to raise the rope up to waist level so it wouldn't be pulling down so much, but I don't want to risk messing it up.

I wouldnt hook it to the handle.. But, I think raising it would help a lot. I'm planning to build a pylon (like the ones on wake editions) for mine. My rope drags the water sometimes. its dumb

How is it going to "mess it up?" ... you should put more thought into understanding the board under your feet.

brassmonkey, The rope can scratch up the seat rail from rubbing constantly. You should go suck a di*k and mind your own business if you only have negative shizzle to say!

splitphire, I don't think he was trying to be negative. No drama bro we're all here for the stoke. I wanna hear about slapping a pylon on the back of a ski though.

My plan for a pylon is a pole just like the wake editions, with brackets bolted to the holes where the handle is and where the back hook bolts on. and reinforce from the back side. I hope to do it in the next month or so.. I'll post pictures when its done.
