I'm thinking about taking up standup paddling on the water for flat, windless days at the beach/as a workout. You can get into serious shape if you paddle for an hour or two a few times a week and I'm quitting my gym because working out at a gym makes me want to kick a puppy.

Land paddling is pretty dumb though.

I've seen paddle boarding but not paddle skateboarding. It sounds kind of stupid. I have seen people use ski poles with roller blades but they aren't pushing off with them.
