I remember watching the sfumato trailer over and over!
I never got to buy it though. I have been trying to find a copy to buy but no one has it anymore.
I still watch the trailer every now and then. If someone knows where I can buy it please tell me.

The first wakeskating I saw on a VHS was wake weirdos 2001. It's an aussie wakeboard movie with guys like watkins, iks and josh sanders strapping, but there was a rad wakeskate section with pete stewart riding a blue(brand) wakeskate and scotty kell doing shuvs on a cut down wakeboard with foam. so cool.

I love funboots! Such a fun vibe. Nicks section makes wakeskating look effortless.

NARLA is awesome, put me on to some cool music and aarons section is so good.

Aquafrolics is another dvd I want to buy but can't find. I have lost my downloaded copy and can't even find somewhere to download it again.
Took wakeskate films to a new level of quality and the footage from above was something new for me.

jc, G.K.D., I have an extra copy of sfumato. I can send it to one of you guys at some point. the only question is determining how I will decide who it goes to. For sure, it will go down undah. I hope at some point we can get that video back in production. It would be really cool to do like a 10 year anniversary thing or something. I have an article I wrote about it because at 5 years I was feeling hella nostalgic. But I have yet to finish (satisfactorily (sp), at any rate) it because it sounds like someone who doesn't wakeskate wrote it.

electricsnow, Our Time is a film released in 2006 about the Aussie top wakeboarder's...
but the bonus section is about a drift that Red Bull organised. They got an old barge & made an elevated pool out of it with an on-ramp, hover's on one end & a wall ride an towed it into the middle of the lake with a jet ski. A bit more of a life stile video & not a full-on action flick but has a great vibe. It stars Brian Grub, Thomas Horrell, Jim Leatherman & Aaron Reed.

p.s. I'll be more than happy to take that copy of sfumato off your hands Smile

I just received The Book this week. This is my first wakeskate dvd. Although, it is an instructional dvd it is fun to watch. I can't find anywhere to purchase MTM. Where can I can pick up a copy?

Been watching sfumato and asterisk on continuous loop ( big thanks to electricsnow,)... BEST EVER!!!

Nice to finally see Jim Leatherman ride (even though it's an old clip) after meeting him last year when he came down to OZ with Aaron. Nicest bloke you could ever wish to meet.

I think Jim killed it in sfumato! and in real life he has a lot of charisma...it's hard to describe. It's a really fun section to watch, even though he wasn't at the level of thomas, reed and danny.

and I'm glad you're enjoying the vids! they're classics...every wakeskater has to see them at least once, I think...

Washed Up Before We Were Has Beens epitomizes wakeskating for me. In all the best ways. Washed Up makes me want to go wakeskate. The music, the riding, the feel to it. I wish some more shots from that Aaron Reed Extras video made it in, because some of those are so sick and deserve a spot on a hard copy, but maybe that's just because I'm a big Jason Boland fan. Anyhow, if that Sfumato copy is still going around, I'd love to have a watch and pass it on.
