Damn. I've never really been into road bikes. Gonna start riding 36miles with a buddy who does triathlons and iron mans. Kinda scared. I stole this one from my mom. I paid 650$ for just the specialized frame 13 years ago. Still rock solid and the adjustable travel and remote lockout make it great for free riding and some light trails( no front derailleur)

ha, jesus jones! I loved their one song that was killer...right here, right now.

I will post a pic of my bike tomorrow. I used to ride mountain bikes, but I always felt like a nerd on them because at home I just ride on the road. This past summer I restored my older brother's schwinn varsity from 1976. It's kind of cool because that was a centennial year so it has a red white and blue theme. It's heavy as hell though, but still a lot of fun to ride. I generally go about 25-30 miles on it. It definitely makes me feel better about wakeskating and snowboarding, fitness wise.

Eventually I would like a better bike, be it a single speed (not fixed) or just a higher end road bike (not $10,000). I was going to do that with my tax returns next year but the bike I wanted was never produced in a grand scale.

I just went to itunes...and bought that jesus jones song. and it's from 1991...I knew it wasn't that old. Laughing I think back to the walkman and cassette tapes every now and again...I still used one in 1996, which seems crazy. What a pain in the ass, yet at the same time, such a sweet memory from the past. I just dig it. Cool

here's my bike with all appropriate shout outs. Further, I can't possibly communicate through photos how heavy this bike actually is...totally awesome! Laughing my family was some how into schwinns so next summer I'm taking the clips off of an old varsity my parents used to ride. even though I'm not into the other ones, it was cool that my family still kept all of those old bikes.

Nobody is rocking the clip on pedals?

DRAGON88, That handle bar set up looks so uncomfortable, nice looking ride though!

I use em on the road bike, but they aren't any fun free riding around town on the mtb.

2010 Trek 7.3FX. I finally got sick of constantly fixing my old bike so I got something decent to hold me over til I have more money to burn on something nice.

DRAGON88, I think that bike looks so sick! And when I saw that commercial I thought that was your bike on there, or at least a version of it (though it's weird because yours is a couple years older than the commercial).
