are hard...

I can land on them mostly every time but i am by no means leveled over the board, im almost always landing like im sitting in a chair and i then fall straight to my heel side.

I am trying them inside out taking a pretty mellow cut flipping them perfectly but the landing just feels so weird!

Any tricks or tips to this trick with its very respective name?

damn, thanks cc. i don't do them often cause if u muff it up.......look out.

although soy escuela is the master and would provide the best tip. flats hardflip.Wow.

i guess the foot position really made it happen. i took my back foot heel hanging all the way off the board....heelside edge all the way back. i feel like this gives you extra power to push the fs shuv through the flip. under shuved hardflips are novice. u definetly need more shuv than u think to get the goods.

hit a fs shuv in out for starters.

now get that foot position front foot ducked a bit half way up...heel slightly off. make your in out cut......gradual......when you hit that wake, stomp your back foot and scoop the fs shuv........like soy said....hardflips are easier when you pop them hard........so go big......once the board leaves the wake and is spinning and coming up i flick down with my front foot and then pick up both feet and get them the hell out the way.......watch the underside and then when you spot the grip-.......stomp her down and ride her out on your heels.....hope this helps Al.

Thanks guys!

About the foot position, are we talking front foot in the middle of the deck or more toward the front or kinda at just like a kicky? I kinda have it a bit above the middle ducked.

Ill let you guys know how it goes whenever I get out on the water again!
