My boat came with an EI conversion but has given me problems lately (as in the last few months). I am reverting back to a point set ignition but need a couple of parts...
I have a PCM Prestolite distributor mounted on a 351 Ford, and am in need of a points plate, just the plate itself, condition of the pieces mounted on the plate is unimportant. I am only in need of the plate where everything mounts. Also need the upper distributor shaft. It is the piece that engages with the advance mechanism in the distributor, and the piece that triggers the breaker itself.
If you're at least able to point me in the right direction then that works, too. I've tried the2001.com's site and they're pretty much useless unless you're running EI.
Thanks in advance. |

That was my first attempt, prior to posting on the forums. That's where I purchased my tune up kit from. I have everything but a breaker plate and upper rotor. |
