He's at the top of his game right now. I've listened straight through 'recovery' about 10X in a row since tues. Still tripping me out. BEST RAPPER EVER?!
^to the haters, I felt the same way. I was a fan of his for the 1st 3 albums, then I thought he was stupid. He openly admits that his last few albums were crap. He's clean now and like I said, at the top of his game! _________________ "it is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." |

mojo, thank you! everyone keeps asking me if i have heard the cd and its a joke to me. i cannot stand how he breaks up his lyrics, to me its like he chops thoughts in to broken fragments with deep breaths 5 words into a line. _________________ if theres no future in it, at least theres a present worth remembering.

i dunno - all the recent hip-hop i've been listening to has been all southern (gucci mane, weezy, jeezy, t.i, luda, big boi)
Got kinda burnt out on rap/hip hop. Although B.o.B is from the south and I think his album covers everything and is pretty sick and easy to listen to.
Recovery is straight up RAP blended with some poppy hip hop hooks. Finally Em leaves out the BS (the mexican voice sh*t, weird skits). I don't know which tracks you guys heard that you thought were whack, but 95% of the album is pure fire.
-Won't Back Down
-Space Bound
-25 to Life
-So Bad
-Cinderella Man (prob the one you think is choppy, i think its sick)
-Love the Way You Lie

stompin9s, Let me know when you're done riding Eminem's shaft.
The album was better than Relapse but that isn't exactly saying much. There are some decent tracks, like "Space Bound" but the hook dug that song its grave. This album isn't his best work nor his worst, the album was mediocre. I liked Eminem when he was starting out (Marshal Mathers LP, Slim Shady LP, etc...) but that's just me. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/nizzate/ |

This is by far not his best album.... It's better than the recent eminem albums but nothing compares to his old raw stuff. _________________ My life's a constant work in progress and I wouldn't have it any other way! |
