broke my ankle

went out for a boat set last night and on my last 180 wake to wake attempt i landed wrong and broke my ankle! now i'm in a cast for 6 weeks and our season just began. i guess i am the deadicated boat driver for the next little while. so far this year i've bruised 3 ribs winching and a broking ankle.

all will be better in time my friend. i shattered my left ankle 3 years ago on a inside out switch big spin. i had to get 8 screws and a metal plate in my left ankle. couldnt walk for 8 months no wait barring. sucks. Honestly, im riding better now than i have prior to me breakin my ankle. No joke. i aslo broke my right talus (ankle) last year in a car accident. No sugery on that ankle. took 7 months to heal. All is well though. It is no easy battle though. i spent alot of time icing and elevating my ankle. you will get through and it will heal 100% just DONT WALK ON IT UNTIL U ARE TOLD TO. THAT IS HUGE! DONT RUSH IT.
Words of advice. SMOKE GRASS and ICE your ankle all day and keep it about your heart and you will be fine..

just sucks because i'm the only one with a wakeboard boat and a winch around here. And i spent the weekend with a full boat towing every one around.

rfmcrx, been in your exact shoes a couple years back (six) and with our short season it sucks even more. At least it happend early enough in the season that you can still ride a bunch before winter.

Good job maning up and still taking people out.
