nick, It's never usually as clear as it was that day. I don't know what is going on lately with this clear water north of us, but I like it. When does the secksy water start pushing in over there?
I heard rumors of a very strict snook season over there for the next couple years because of the freeze.
bromfutter, its on

I cried when I saw all the snout floating in the canals and in the bay, I doubt we'll get a season at all this year but yesterday I went out wakeskating and saw 3 BULL redfish, fat little tanks ripping through the flats. Stoked. Now that I'm on the houseboat, I'm right in the middle of all my favorite riding spots and fishing spots
It started clearing up last week, but later in the month is secksy water time...

| that hammer is gnarly, i remember when i was a young teenager and my dad took me fishing on our boat and we were just cruzin out away from shore and this giant, i mean 10ft + hammer just pulled up about 4 feet away form the boat and chilled with us for a mile or so, it was unreal, thats one of the first time i saw the actual stereotypical fin out of the water situation going on. Then i started seeing it inland deep in the river cuz we had a few bull sharks here and there :/ not as cool to see while your trying to ride....

Don't remind me... I think having one season off will be worth it in the long run.
Go get some of those fatty's. they are loving the shrimp over here right now. You are livin' the life right now, enjoy it. I wanna live on either a sailboat or a houseboat for a decent chunk of time. If i had a sail boat I would just disappear into bvi or turks areas.
what is that three mile reef made of? I saw that its artificial, we have one like yours and its made out of my old high school.

mufinman98, we ran the beach about up to stuart today and shot 7 cobia all 30+ lbs one was 45lb. got some good footage today
nothing like wrestling a 45lb cobe that is full of adrenaline.
If i was you I would just hit up all the little reefs south of the st Lucie inlet. Just run in like 15-20feet of water and look for stuff in the water. Definitely go hit up peck lake which is a very short ride south of you. During the summer there is a lot of life and the greg norman wreck. Its a sunken boat in about 25ft of water right behind greggs house,
Usually we are out in 60+ unless we are getting some cobes. So I am not too familiar with the shallower spots up north.
You probably wont be able to go out for a while though, wind is supposed to be like 18 knots tomorrrow and the waves are gonna get ches to head high chop for about the next week. But the water was unbelievably clear today. So when you get a chance, get out there ASAP! But be safe and have respect for your fellow divers!
Hayden R, nice bass
