I figured you guys could appreciate this picture. this is what i do when im NOT wakeskating lol. Some of you bayou boys may recognize the area. we parked at McGee's to get some lunch the other day after shooting some pictures of an oil rig south of Baton Rouge

cjbecker, i'm a pilot Very Happy

another pilot and i flew it the other day to take some pictures for the company we work for. we got hungry so we landed in the Atchafalaya Basin to eat lunch at McGee's Landing. i do not have my seaplane rating yet but have a few hours in the plane already and will be working on that soon.

disco hippo, i have not YET. my dad says he slalom skied behind it when he was a kid but i have not seen proof lol

does your job pretty much require you do fly every day? what is it exactly you do? i am really interested in this and want to peruse it.

cjbecker, No we do not fly everyday. and actually we rarely fly the sea plane. Im a pilot for an oil service company. we mainly fly empoyees and customers around the south. We usually fly this small Citation CJ1 or a bigger Citation III. I also fly smaller propeller planes like a Bonanza and a Baron

That's a pretty cool job. I get to sit behind a desk and work on excel spreadsheets most of the day. Jealous?

bmosing, i got gas money if you wanna try an ride behind the seaplane!!! or we could just film from it and ride my boat...
