Photo and video forum: Yay or nay

What do you want? Do you want a separate forum for the photos and videos you have to share, or do you want it all to merge back in general wake? I've heard suggestions from both sides of the fence so now it comes down to what the majority wants.

i didnt even realize there was a "riding videos & pictures" section...thats what i thought general wakeskating was for Laughing

it might sound dumb but if you put the photovideo section right under the general forum it would do better i think.

Why do we need a separate forum?

What if we created a 'post your pics' thread and stickied it to the top of the general wake forum? Might be fun to have one big thread that everyone can post a pic or two in and see how big that gets.

Steven M, forgot about that thread...hence my suggestion for it to be stickied to the top of the forum.

that forum was created because someone suggested it. The idea was that it would be easier to find the videos people posted. but recently some people have made the suggestion to merge the share your videos and photo forums back with the general forum.

The super long threads can be fun, but they can also be a major hassle to search through. In order to pinpoint something in that thread, you really need to know who made that post and you need to know a key word or something so it will specifically come up in a site search. Otherwise you have how many pages of info to sift through.

You should make it a sub-forum of General Wakeskating. That way if you want to see all the videos/pictures they will all be organized nicely in the video forum, but at the same time thread titles still appear in General. Makes it easy for everyone to see and for people to go back and find it. .02
