so what i am going to try to do is to make a kicktail for my flat deck (hyperlite scape 116) and shorten it to 41 inches. first of all i am going to cut off whatever length of both sides to make it 41 inches. then i am going to do the measurements and cut out a "kicktail peice" out of wood. then im going to use some wood glue to attach the kicktail to the board.
will this work? |

There is a topic that has been mentioned recently on making your own wakeskate. I would think that you could take the scape, use that as your base then just follow the instructions those guys gave...i.e. build the kicktalils, using epoxy and sealing the board after sanding it down. Just my 2 cents. _________________ "It's like there's not enough pants where there need to be more pants." |

my buddy did that and the board turned into a tank and rode terrible. also by cutting the tails you will be getting rid of the rocker making it very flat |
