What do you guys think about this?

I don't care either way, but I don't know that they don't want to pay anyone, so much as money may not be abundunt in these TOUGH ECONOMIC TIMES.

I did that caps lock thing as a joke, but also recognize that they've had to cut print material for the magazine and put it up on the internet. Magazine pages are funded by advertising, which there is less of. Do the math.

Also, it didn't say anywhere there that they weren't paying anyone. Ultimately I don't know the situation on that whole thing but one thing I do trust in is that it's not a ploy to get out of paying contributors, at least in a greedy sense.

They were nice to look at though, so maybe having 5+ photos every week instead of 1 will be better? but then again, I like the pic of the day thread on ws.com more than a lot of the conday movers anyways...

i always thought it was funny that they had online covers and they were the last link on the alliancewakeskate.com page

what i like most about the monday cover is the story behind it...reading from the photographer what goes into the shot is what appeals to me the most...lets keeeeep it Exclamation

There have been alot of cut backs! Playboy did 2 months in one mag for Jan and Fab. It sucks but maybe the media should just do it for the love and not expect to get paid. We all need to make changes to adapt to whats going on right now. Like Nick said "Pic a Day" thread is awesome. I know no one is makin money on those, it's all for the love. AWS.com has done some great things for us and the sport. Maybe now it's time for us to do something for them... just sayin.
