i got to ride with this greg van wagnen dude the other day and the kid totaly rips, he is almost sticking inpossibles (landing on the board) and is working on dark slides (flipping it to darkslide and almost flipping it back). we were talking about boards and he told me about some of his ideas for new boards and how the conpany he rides for right now doesnt seem to care at all. i dont want to give away his ideas but one of you other conpanys that care about progression should get a hold of him and see whats going on. i thought he might be lame becuase of his posts on this site but thats totaly not how he acts. i asked him about why he makes so many dumb posts and he said usualy hes drunk or real bored or both. im only posting this becuase i know he wont do it himself and i think that someone should get him on there team becuase hes about to be killing it.
p.s. the kid has some sick kickflips, cleaner then a baby's ass

I'm pretty skeptical about all this until I see some footage. First off, there are a lot of tricks between a kickflip and an impossible or a darkslide. Someone who is only doing kickflips stepping it up to an impossbile and a darkslide, i highly doubt that. Where's the frontside flips, varial kickflips, heelflip even?

i havent seen him but somewhere-mighta been in the chat room- he said he has been wakeskating for four months and landing kickflips. If i remembered that right, then he must be great.

If Greg can consistenly land kickflips and maybe a couple of other tricks behind the sea doo, then next year he'll be very competitive on the tour - assuming he can get the money/sponsorship to hit the stops. Chase is the same way, they both have lots of skill and just need another trick or two to be very competitive.

Once they have the tricks then it's all about putting together a good contest run, hitting the rails, etc.

peterinsano, its a little more then 4 months now but i took about a month and a half off when i was moving to florida and some other stuff was going on.
stussy, thats just grose

i will get some video as soon as my dad sends me the video camera. i actualy just saw a little footage of me riding today. it was kind of kool lookin, hopefully the dude will post a little big of it. it was kind of choppy though so nothin huge went down. almost kickfliped over a cano (spelling) but i didnt land any kickflips on film still.
