ive been ridin a 09 byerly legacy 39 for about 3 months now and i keep havin the same problem with my kickflips no matter what i try...
i can pop about waist high and flick it and it comes completely around, its just that i always push the board about a foot in front of me or a foot to my right. i cant seem to stay over the board
...any suggestions are appreciated.
make sure you're not on edge when you pop off the water, also you might be flicking it too early, which would push it out too far in front of you. Try waiting a little longer before flicking down. _________________ El Tiburón Rojo
I used to have the same problem too. It was very frustrating indeed. Then I realised that I was so focused on the flick and my foot placement, which was causing me to look down at the board and as a result I was leaning back towards my heel edge. This resulted in me being about a foot away from the board every time that it came around and back towards the water. I made a conscious effort to stand over the board (centered between heel and toe) and now it stays under me all the time. Hope it helps! _________________ www.boards4all.com
