I just recently bought this board 09 model (40). I'm very new to wakeskating. What are your thoughts on this board and thoughts on this board for someone new to the sport like myself?

its a good shape and the new LF fasction and anthem are much stronger then past years. but the only thing that isnt so great about the board is that the concave is made out of foam which means if you put grip tape on your skate you will have no concave.

had a 40 Anthem last year for a month and a half. Great beginner board. But once I started riding other people's boards, I realized why the Anthem is a beginner setup. Get started on it then move up.

It's a good board in a shop full of really bad boards.

So I put the fins on and they aren't even straight... Weird. I'm thinking maybe the holes weren't drilled properly or something. They are angled in opposite directions. Maybe just take them off?

Sorry for the crappy quality of the picture. I just took a picture of the back fin. It's a lot easier to see it in person. The front fin is angled the opposite way though.

Maybe I'll just go finless until I get my next board. Do you recommend putting anything in the holes or is that nothing to worry about?
