Places to Shuvit!!

I just learned how to do a pop shuvit at Samuel Devual watersports. When i got out of the water he told me to try a few more shuvs but at other spots. How do you land the shuvit when you go up the wake, shuvit, then land of the same wake going down it. i always seemed to eat it on the top of the wake. i couldn't fully 180 the board. need help.... thxs.

carve the wake a few times pop off the top of the wake and then try to land back in the wake and ride down it

And maybe cut out toeside and try them, and when you get heelside and toeside pretty consistent, try doing them on the in/out wake. It'll come to you, man, and when it does, you'll feel like a bad a throwing shuv after shuv all around the wake.
