|
|
So I recently got my new integrity over christmas break and I plan on riding it in about 2 weeks when spring break rolls around. I purchased some CDI .7" wakeskate fins to go on the board, and before anyone tries to tell me that I don't need fins I'd like to say I LIKE FINS. The dilemma here is that I have to run the center hole pattern which requires me to use a 1/4" bolt on these fins which are usually accompanied by a washer which can be quite annoying sticking up on the top of your deck.
So after googling for "pan head" or "round head" screws I keep getting stuff for drywall and such. Does anyone know where I can get screws that would be a pan head or round head design that would be a little smaller and less noticeable on the deck of the board? I'd like to just order them online instead of searching from hardware store to hardware store. _________________

| It really is amazing how much one person can know about bolts and screws and such. I've gone to lowes/home depot and those guys can look at a screw and tell you exactly what size it is in a second with no measuring. They'll also be able to figure out what will fit almost any application you need. |

I'm not sure on the length of the bolt you'll need for an Integrity but just take your deck and fin to a hardware store that has stainless and ask them to show you their 1/4-20 bolts. A pan head 1/4-20 is extremely common. I'm guessing the length you want is 1"
Make sure you get stainless though. _________________ arson-wake.com |

ok i know this has been posted but i have a set of shank fins for a hyperlite I want to put them on my integ, but the bolt patter doesn't match up. would it be safe to drill through the deck or would I risk effing something up? would I be better getting a tap and drilling a new thread hole in the fins?
sorry didn't mean to thread jack, just thought it was a related question |
