picked it up a while ago. Another awesome intro movie just like the first. I really need to work on the new tricks cause I find that I'm using the old stuff every time and not mixing in all the new options.
Also, while I'm glad there is an option to get off your board and walk, the controls are really slow and clunky when walking around.
Anyone else pick it up yet? _________________

Footplants, handplants, lots of new grabs like bennehanna's and other one-footers, boneless, no-complys, board grab while grinding, hippie jumps, and probably more stuff that I'm forgetting.
Oh, and no you can choose to bail in the air and also control the bail while in the air. New thrasher hall of meat game where you compete for the worst crash. _________________

teleporting FTMFW!!
Now you can see challenges and spots on your map and teleport straight there instead of having to skate it or find a subway! Speeds up time between challenges when you just want to move through your career. _________________

how come when you do a career it automatically puts you on the stance goofy? I don't know how to change it. _________________ Island Style |

tad, did the "lot to lot" yesterday..
you gotta find a kicker near by and move it so you can bank down it for the landing..
this game is legendary ..

tad, haha i was stuck on the same part the other night. I was baffled til i saw that ever-so-conveniently-placed kicker
Blows skate 1 out of the water. Which i thought would be hard to do.
Loving ollie norths, benny's, walking up stairs , and of course the NEW SAN VAN.
It's fun to set up a bunch of shizzle in the middle of the street to skate, like a bench going across the street, and holding up all the traffic for a little sesh _________________ - Evan Molina |

You have to find a rail that is the right height and do a kickflip so your board goes under the rail while you are going over it. There is no magic button combo, its just like it was in the first game: all about the right spot and the right timing. _________________

| For those of you who have played the first and second skate games... Does the second one feel a little looser to you? I've only played the skate2 demo and didn't really like it as much as the first one. I didn't feel as connected to the character movement and it wasn't as satisfying to land even simple tricks. Was the demo just unpolished or is the whole game that way? |

I love Skate 2! (PS3) I felt that it was more responsive than normal skate and less THPS than the first.
Thumbs up from me! _________________ Obscura Wakeskates! |
