Animals by pink floyd is IMO the best album EVER, and contains 3 of the greatest songs in the world that are only outmatched when played continuously

also, les claypool and the fearless frog brigade did a cover of the whole CD and it too is amazing..... get the near same greatness in a different package if you are in a different music style mood

animals is a awsome cd but i still believe the best PF cd are The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (very first cd with original lead singer sid Barrett), or Wish You Were Here

PS My parents saw both the animal tour and the Pulse tour, dad wanted to bring to the pulse but i was like 9 and mom said no Mad

I listened to this album on my ipod last night after smoking some dank cali bud.

I was listening to it through my skullcandy skullcrushers, and my body turned into an orchestra playing the music.... it was pretty cool Smash

glad some people on the forums listen to good music, so sick of this world and everyone being told what is "cool" to listen to. MTV is ruining our youth. We have kids running around thinking lil wayne is the greatest, oh well their loss I guess. Animals is an amazing album the lyrics are just mind blowing and like I said all of our youth and their "sheep" mentality. However my favorite album has to be Wish you were here, shine on you crazy diamond is like sex to the ears. Anyways RxSkater, the 31st of January one of the best cover bands for pink floyd are doing a show here in orlando. They are known for playing older songs off of albums such as The piper at the gates of dawn, meddle, etc. They go by the name of "Machine" check em out on youtube, they are amazing and I hope to see you there!

Le Jalapeno, have you ever listened to Easy Dub Allstars? they are a reggae pink floyd cover band. -LoGiK-, I have never heard of Machine, but here on the west coast the floydian slips are a pretty damn good cover band
