does anyone know if I could use 5 gallon buckets to hold up my rail instead of the big ole barrels

it depends on how many 5g buckets and how big your rail is. A friend of mine used foam one time, in addition to the big 50g barrels.. but stability was an issue. The rail kept wanting to rock. Depends on how you set it up i guess.

when you get barrel, fill em with water a bit , it makes the obstacle more stable

5 gal buckets is a bad idea floating rails are garbage dig that sht into the ground
