I just wanted you all to know I how much I hate Panasonic P2 HD video camera...don't ever waste money on this hd camera that records onto thousand-dollar memory cards that hold 30-40 minutes of HD footage...ah i feel better now

mank the tank, I just really don't like the whole memory card concept. We had to reshoot a whole show because we only have 4x16gig cards and an intern went to transfer then dump them and lost all of the footage. Also you can't archive it in the same was as dv tapes and what not.

I am definitely sold on the XDCam HD. We have a couple of them and the quality is great and it records on blu-ray discs, and its a kick ass replacement for the Varicam

jcoffey, well dont blame it on the P2 cards Smile sounds like an interns fault. Yeah I agree about archiving but you can just burn to disk. It's simple.

Where do you work?
