My buddy was using my FX1 last night a a rail jam and got it wet. Crying or Very sad Last night if you flipped out the lcd screen it would flicker on and off but today it seems to be working pretty well. The internal battery is also fried because it continues to ask for the date and time. Anyone had this situation before even with another camera and had success salvaging it?

There are a number of things you can do to try and salvage a camera that got wet.

sit it in a big bowl of rice
stick it in the freezer
stick it in the oven
set it under a lamp that gives off lots of heat

Depending on how much water got on it (and where it got on it), I would just take out the batteries and let it sit for a 2-3 days so it can fully dry off.

dont put it in the oven too long or too high of a temp. and dont put it in the freezer too long it will screw up your LCD.
