free video editing?

i have some pretty funny late night stuff on my camera (not camcorder), you know short movies. unfortunately they are way to dark. any easy way i can lighten them up? also, i dont know much about computers. hook a brotha up

Avid Free DV. You might have to search around for it because it isn't available through Avid anymore. If/when you get that, there should be a whole list of video effects and some should control brightness/exposure.
