id say at least 3-6 inches deep? with a ton of water in a neighboring pool or pond. maybe? i know when you fall at the flowrider, you get pretty broke off cause it so shallow. haha

ive ridden a couple different flowriders, but no wakebox's and that what i remember the depth there was. the videos of the wakebox dont look much deeper than 3-5" inches. imo

ive brainstormed on this before.

i thought about taking an old car (like a 4 banger) and hook the axel up to a monster pump but there mad expensive. (the pumps) the ones for the flowriders are like $67,000 each or some ish. there has to be some large volume pumps out there though for cheaper. off of something?

or what about an old jet ski / boat and anchored down so it just shoots a thin film or water across a riding area? again next to a pond. imagine those tub things that they test outboard motors in at boat service shops. something like that but heavily modified.

or set a solid quarter pipe at the bottom of a huge water fall and redirect the water so you can hold a rope and rock it like the satelyte secret lab....... hhhmmmnnnnn....

I hope your ideas are better than mine cause i just read what i wrote and was like ppppppffffffffttt. what an idiot..... hahahaha

anyways good luck and keep us posted.

Jet ski sounds great but the anchor for it would have to be soooo strong

get one of those never ending pools people use for swimming in place. the jet might work in a different style pool you build

you could just have the jetski running into a brick wall and have pipes on the sides to keep it straight.

believe me i was designing one a while back... the water needed to push this thing is rediculus... the wake boxes over in europe are like 200 000 bucks... i did alot of work on this thing before figuring out that it just wasnt costly even to make a ghetto version of it... here are the flow rate conversions

a friend of mine was thinking of using a couple of fire engine pumps that he got off ebay... i dont think he ever got it working though

JeffKnox, damn you smart UF people. lol

but that is a really example of the MASSIVE amount of water you need!!

i feel smarter after reading that...

how much less water would you use of you estimated about 3 inches of water instead of 5?
