The Devotid is a traditional bilevel like the 05-06 cassette. The sst is a composite top with a wood bottom I really don't no how to explain it. The 40.5 won't be available for awhile unless you no were to get it from and if you do tell me

lumpy pants, why do you want the SST? have you ridden it? The devotid is one hell of a board, and i prefer it over the SST. Dont take my word for it, but it seems you picked the SST on a whim

i think the sst is really more like a concave style board with a flexy tip/tail. i had one, but did not really care for it even though i think it is a good board. i like how the decks are together along the rail, but i like a more skateboard deck feel personally. plus the sst is made in dubai and the u.a.e. is one of the big reasons we didnt get to take out osama a long time ago

no can compare those boards because the 40.5 isnt even out yet. i think only danny hampson and silas have tried that deck.

like mojo said they are very different kind of boards. the sst is my favorite bilevel ive ever ridden. but thats my preference.

-=AlexXx=-, all boards break. ive heard of devotid bilevels breaking too, even news Shocked

you know that the SST is very light for a bi level right?

my friend had an 06 devotid and beat the hell out of the thing and loved it! now he has an SST and loves it Birthday i really like the feel of an sst, it isnt like any other by, it sits higher in the water and doesnt drag as much

both boards are completly different

sst has a top deck with flex-tails and a traditional concave in the middle with no center-flex on the rails because it bolts in the middle of the board.

devotids are a traditional 4 bolt pattern with full range of flex throughout the top deck. Its my personal opinion but i prefer some flex in the side concave so you can generate a little extra pop from a flick. the only reason i like round top decks is like ive said in previous posts, " the ability to get more scoop out of the board with your toes having room to get a little more under the top deck, and heels"

lumpy pants, The onward comes in a 38 and 40. The passion is a 41 and has the option of a round top deck like De oro said

if you want a 40.5 get a Windsor( made by devotid), man i love mine, saddly enough i havent even ridden my beloved OAK this year because this thing rips soo hard, cant get enough of it. Mucho Mucho Poppy, it seems to stick to my feet like Velcro. Ive been rideing it 4-5 days a week for the last 2 months and it shows no signs of water seepage or cracking at all, and im not easy on a board either im, 200lbs i broke a Aaron Reed LF in 2 weeks, and a Cassette Bi in less than a month.

i have the windsor/devotid 40.5 bi and the sst and both have totally different feels. if you like the skateboard feel go with the devotid; concave go with the sst. imo the windsor has awesome pop and i was riding it more than the sst, but the top deck cracked on one end right over the truck set-up after one month. i heard that devotid now has a fiberglass top deck so i'm gonna try and scoop that up. not to take anything away from the sst, it's held up strong and it's a w2w machine. i skateboard a lot and the devotid is just so much fun on the water so it's hard not to pick it up first.
