how do i pop the board up off the wake so that i can spin it? or do i pop at all. right now, everytime i throw the board it just catches the wake.

are you trying fs or bs shuvs off? when i first tried them i was trying bs shuvs and they would catch every time. I started trying fs shuvs of the lip and have never gotten caught up on them.

if you're just starting out do just a 90 fs shuv off, they're extremely easy one of the first tricks i ever learned. if you throw it pretty straight it should never get caught
