How do you go about starting? We know the general plan, but have no clue where to start building.

We're going to build something like this.
6 22
/TTTTTTTT

the flat part will be 2 feet off the base. The slant part will be 6 feet. The main part will be 22 feet. How would I go about starting work? Should I get to barrels already? or can it wait?
Do you start at the base? or at the top? Any help would be appreciated.

6' start up sounds too steep, i suggest making it a lil longer gradual incline............take a look at the floating glory rail cause that is one of the hottest looking floatable rails i"ve seen in a long time. Good luck.........just dig in homes.

have yall thought about trying to find some foam blocks laying around?

it was my experience with barrels that they are majorly top heavy when you get the rail on them... so you have to dang near sink them with water........

if you had a place to drive a post or 6 in it would be prime
