rail help

So basically, I made a rail for snowboarding this winter. It's 2 pieces of 10 ft. PVC (4 in. diameter) and it slid amazingly. I only used it about once or twice, and my friends and I came up with the idea of possibly making it into a wakeboarding rail. What precautions and steps would I take in making this happen? Would I just rip off the 2x4's and strap on water barrels, make an incline section, then anchor it down or would it require more work than that?

leave the wood on and u could drill poles into the bottem and then u can stick the poles down into the bottem of the lake an not even need any barrels or anchor

when you put teh poles in the lake it is best if you have 2x4's going out at the bottom at 45 degree angles it adds more stability
