Anybody got any tips, plans, or suggestions for a rail rail that i can build(easy)? Don't know where I'm going to put it yet, going to find out if it is legal or not on my lakes.

Thanks

Dave

the way to go, if at all possible, is to hammer/dig some legs a foot or so into the bottom in around 3 feet of water, then build a flat rail on top. 4x4s work well for the legs, and 2x4 or 2x6 for the rail part. make it as long or as tall as you like, be sure you brace it up well, and use some PVC or some of that trex synthetic decking stuff for the sliding surface.

alright i have pretty much the same question, except im in 5-8 foot of water and i have an unlimited amount of white foam avaliable....i have a few ideas, mainly for a funbox...the only thing im not sure about is how to anchor it (or make it floatable/moveable) and how to cover the top w/ some sort of sliding. any ideas, anyone?

the cheapest anchors would be cinderblocks and some rope cheap homedepot type rope as far as the sliding surface on a box I would do pvc sheet also should be at home depot and for a rail definately trekdeck synthetic decking once again homedepot is your best bet
