Four of my friends just died in a car accident last night after we left a party, thats the article, everyones pretty shook up around here. I just wanted to warn some people about drunk driving and to make SMART decisions.

Thanks for all the support guys. These kids know soooo many people around here, and were all really good friends. I just got home from one of the kids girlfriends house who i've known my entire life, shes torn up pretty bad, as is my cousin who was best friends with two of the kids. Its a really sad day up here, these kids were known by a ton of people and its def. a shocker to everyone around here, but thanks for all the love and support guys, its defiantly needed.

This crash is on every car forum I know. Its making big news everywhere. A physics engineer did the physics and said they were going 80mph when they went over the berm, after slamming on the brakes. They expect that the car was doing between 140 and 160mph before that. Its takes a total of 800ft to slow down from 160mph, minus the 4 extra passengers in the car. So who knows. You can also read some of his post on www.m5board.com claiming of doing 140mph and not making the best decisions. What do you expect from a 18yr old with 500+ horsepower BMW M5. Sorry but they where being extremely reckless and stupid. My prayers are with families. People, please drive safe and with common sense. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I just did a lot of reading on the event. It's still sad but all four victims had numerous tickets for speeding/careless driving. The driver had made posts looking for an airstrip to do test runs on. Each victim made the choice to get in the car. Nobody should get behind the wheel after drinking. My condolences go out to family and friends because I've been through this many times. Let's just hope others and PARENTS learn from this mistake. My first car had 119hp. 507hp is a lot of power for professional drivers let alone 18yr olds who just learned to drive a manual.
