Hyperlite tent poles are now made in China, so we kinda wasted a whole heap of money on the acid and termites R&D budget. The big top is colapsing in on itself with just a will placed, but high energy tap from the little dwarfs. Think Bruce Lee style.

Grouch, the gate is made in taiwan, and this here hyperlite hat is made in dominican republic. oh wait, the hat is made by someone else, not hyperlite. i bet the hyperlite stitching is done here in the ol' us of a, but probably by chinese. or mexicans. whichever is cheaper. sad but true.

Im not coming out to say that hyperlite is the best company in the world, but they do still press a large number of boards here in the US in redmond Washington.

The only reason that "Hyperlite" (also known as HO watersports) has Byerly, Parks, and more top name pros than any other company is simple, $$$$$. They're a major waterski company that sells their product in sporting goods stores nation wide! So I really don't see how you can say they had Byerly before they were a "Big Company"................They've always been a Big WaterSki Company. Now don't think I'm Bashing Hyperlite, I'm not. Just go to any sporting goods and see for yourself.

The funny thing is that the same company that owns Hyperlite also owns Liquid Force and Obrien...It doesn't matter what product you buy, the man is still making his $$$ off of you.

actualy I myself do not like hyperlite, but i was in a circumstance where i had to get one ( cassette has'nt been shipping, integrity isnt out yet and my 4 trac de-lamanated and lost ALL its pop) i absoutley hated the board at first but i have grown to really like it alot, im doing all my tricks twice a big as i was with a cassette. And yes, i am still ashamed to be riding the board. i WILL be purchasing an integrity board in june.

I've ridden both hype and cassette and i defenatly like cassete better,

i like cassette bekause they ride lower in the water. and to you Xboard32X my concave cassete is going on year three i guess you just suck. or you treat it like crap . Smash

Grouch, not quite, the guy who owns kent has stakes in the other companies, kent itself doesn't own LF, HO, Obrien, Connelly, etc.

RIPMutiny, Byerly only joined HL in 1999, well after they became famous. He was with wake tech prior to that.
