wakeriderof87, how can you say Brand New's cd was a huge disappointment? It showed a lot of maturity from their first cd, and the lyrics on it are amazing. Definitely one of the best cd's of the year. It is selling like crazy too.

I've been into Indie music for a few years now, and I'm glad that its starting to get some recognition like this. I was really stoked when I heard Modest Mouse on the radio the other day. Some of my favorite groups are Sorry About Dresden, Hot Water Music, Rilo Kiley, The New Pornographers, Minus The Bear, Koufax, Crooked Fingers. Definitely a fan of the Saddle Creek label too.
