There is some lightning, but the worst part is that it isn't just rain, its bascially flash floods that we are getting. If it was a little rain i wouldn't care at all.
it's rained so much that my pier is about 3 inches from being completely underwater |

Ask for rain in November, not now. Hopefully we do get some rain this year, though, because I just bought a new deck today...
Anyways, flooding sucks. Rapid rises in lakes suck, too, because it means a whole bunch of debris is gonna be in the water. That basically means that you're more likely to kill your prop...or land on something rather hard.

NO IT DOESN'T!!!
It means that you need to find yourself a winch and someone who is articulate enough to convince "the man" that it's cool since there's no boat or PWC in the water. They might be confused enough to be alright with things
