Man he was killin it! I just got welcome yesterday, but man those attemtps at W2W kickflips were off the hook, he had a plain out awesome session in the vid, byerly was good too, but man Grubb was so explosive. Kinda like Byerly in All or Nothing, I thought he did better than Grubb. But in Welcome, on the skate it was all grubb.

WaKeSk8Er1234, a lotta shuvits and spins. He never hits the W2W kickflip but still... I think he did some W2W shuvits. A couple 3's and 1's some sick grabs and 1 footers. But you'll have to see for yourself...

ya I heard asterisk is crazy. But think about how more crazy stuff was pushed with the asterisk shoot, as it was all wakeskating so everybody would be tryin for the best run and the craziest trick. For welcome only 2 wakeskaters not counting murray as he barely skates. So the pushin for crazy stuff wasn't like it was for Asterisk.

But since wakeskating is grubb's job, shouldn't he be pushing for a really good part, regardless of who he's riding with?

I haven't seen his part in welcome yet, but it sounds like I could see a lot of those tricks in boombox, minus the rails that were made for welcome.

And as for wakeskating videos, if you haven't purchased sfumato, I'd add that video to your list too.

V.W., I understand what you're saying about the shoot, but if grubb has to compete for video time with a bunch of wakeboarders (which is why most people will be buying the welcome video anyway) he'd almost have to push that much more to make sure he gets a full and outstanding part. You know, he didn't have a full part in metronome and the two years prior he had the only wakeskating parts. So regardless of who he's riding with, he always has to push to get a part. But I think it would work that way for anyone, grubb just happens to be the example.
