I personaly like it better without fins...I used to ride with fins but the day that I took them off I knew I would never go back to riding with fins. I can't tell you which is better for you. Just go out and ride both and see which works for you.

I dont really agree wakesk8r9610 because I do just as fine w/o fins on my w2w tricks. I feel just as confident w/o fins on w2w as I do with fins.

I actually agree with with minus_gravity, I ride finless always, even for w2w. I don't necessarily feel that I can get as good of an edge into the wake without fins but it is a major hassle switching them on and off and I am just as confident going wake to wake without them.

No one can tell you what you will like. I'm more of a lip tech guy and I don't like finless. I know people who are way better w2w than me and ride finless. That garbage doesn't matter. Whatever feels right,,, run it.

I actually go without, I was just curious. I only rode with fins once, before I had a wakeboard about 2 years ago, then I ordered my board and never felt like screwing them on...haha, yeah I am lazy, so I went without. I like without.

When the boyz from cassette came by our way, i noticed they rode with just one fin... figured why not give it a shot, so I set up with just one on the tail (i'm on the 4trac...)... and its pretty good actually... you kinda get the best of both worlds.. Very Happy

Kian, but doesn't that make riding switch feel really wierd? I tried wakeskating on my wakeboard a couple years ago with just one fin on the back and when i rode it switch.. it was wierd cause the front.. i dunno I can't describe it, it like fishtailed a lot, if that makes any sense. However, the fin I used was huge, so that could be why...

but other than when you do a 180, you can ride a wakeskate switch, but still have the skate goin in the same direction, the problem i wuold worry about is when you do a shuv it or a 180

xtremebordgurl, wakeriderof87, right on.. but i guess its just the initial stages...you get used to it for sure... and learn to ride holding your edge tighter when you ride switch or when you land on a 180/shuvit.... i've noticed also that some liptricks are hell easier without fins.. but as mentioned earlier.. with wake to wakes and on the flats.. the fin helps a lot... .. so with one fin on the tail.. you get to toy around with either riding with a fin or finless...

Suppose for an in-betweener like me.. its works great!...
