mr. Blond, Pretty much anything will be better that what you've got
I'd recommend an Oak... i think they're in the 200 area right? Or you could try getting a used omen or integ that will last you until your great-grandkids are like "GRANPAPPY WHAT'S THAT?!" and you'll be like "Well back in my day that's what wakeskates looked like!" and they'll be like "WHAT?! They look like small wakeboards!" because by then, wakeskates will look nothing like what they do now. Tri-Levels, Rockets, Cup Holders, many innovations...
Anyways... yeah you can get some good used skates for $200, oh and check out the Devotid movement. SICK concave if you're interested in trying a 5-stage _________________ - Evan Molina |

whats uo mr blonde. You should check out my new board 07 gator. Less expensive but not b/c its cheap. Very good board cross blend of an older skate mixed with new features. Unlike Lf and everyone whose boards break and delam that cost 250-300 here at gator we know what skate work and they are good prices. real boards no gimmicks.

mr. Blond, you will be happy with the omen. the pop is off the chain y0! its the perfect weight and it's nice and wide making it pretty forgiving..id suggest trying it with and without fins.. have fun with it.

does no one ride grubbs here?????i feel like i am the outcast, i have the new 116 catalyst. this has massive concave, huge pop and killer rails. i love it, i paid 175 new for one here in my town, u can gfet them shipped for 200 bucks probably. check ocwaterways.com and see. but for real why buy a wood board thats going to just get waterlogged. grubb is an innovater. ride his shizzle

coricluster, its all preference, a lot of people like wood boards because of the way they ride not because of the way they are made.. a lot of people also dont like the hyperlite line just because they are known to be like cut down wakeboards.. everyone likes different. just because grubb is an innovater doesn't mean his board is perfect. he's an amazing rider and he could probably throw his bag of tricks on a wood board, too.
