Some people stake them into the ground (eye hooks attached to frame).. but that's been known to fail... best bet is trailer hitch.. or some tie-downs and strap her to a tree.. |

the new kid, We have a big metal stake, like the kind you would use for a game of horseshoes and a motorcycle tie down. Works like a charm. _________________ arson-wake.com |

i usually try to do one of these things, in this order:
1. leave it in the hitch receiver.
2. strap it to a tree with tie downs or tow straps.
3. wedge it behind a tree/stump/rock/sign/etc... + stand/sit on back of winch
4. put something infront of the wheels and put a couple people on the back of the winch.
ive never had my winch try to "run away" from me. just be careful. _________________ - Bret Little

SkateForce, Twice? damn...
I happened to find mine at my parents house, make sure you use a mini sledge or something to put them into the ground. Gotta put a little muscle into that shizzle!
Your winch is still running after it going into the lake twice? _________________ arson-wake.com |

rocks work too, like big gangsta a$s rocks, they are easy to find when you are winching a rock quarry. |
