wat would be the best and easiest way to make a simple rail out of just pipes ad stuff
cause our lake has lost like a lot of water so there is heap of spots to put it out of the way like behind a island were its mad shallow

galvanized poles---plumbing flanges---screws---a board and a piece of trex the same length
Thats the easiest way i have come across so far
check some of the pics C-way Crew has posted... in some hes hittin a rail built like the above i tried postin the link but i couldnt get it to load... my comps muffed up

kneldog, 2- 16' 2x4s, 1- 16' 2x12, 2- 16' Trex boards, and some 4x4s cut to desired height depending on water depth. Wah Lah flatbar

Jesse, Im building a rail i got the top figured out but the bottom supports i need alittle help, i was thinking 3 2x4 legs and what would you sugest for the bottom feet?

KyleMcleod, some 4x4s at least 2 feet in the ground are key, you can get away with less in the ground in shallow water. Then use the 2x4s to support if still shaky.

hmmm ok, the ground at my place is alll rock Sad so im try to creat a foot system, i was think like 2x6s with baskets on ethere side so i could fill em with rocks, what do you think?

all i use are 2x4's and they never fail and i have no supports there, the key i always do is sharpen the point on one end of the 2x4 so it slides in all nice and deep like Wink

i sink mine in 3 feet Laughing

I think you are on the right track, but I have no experience with rock bottoms. (My fave KISS song is rock bottom Twisted Evil )
