I think this is a pretty stupid thread. You shouldn't be trying to please a person. You should just do what you like doing, and if they like it then they will sponsor you. That's just my opinion.

wcwakeskater, the kid was curious, give him a break, im sure if you coul be sponsored you would like to. now as for the kicker, the falls are actually suprisingly painful, but fun none the less. i just do not know how to keep the board on my feet

kyle, try to ride straight up it with one hand and then try to grab it.... if u go up it up handed and ur learning to hit kickers u do what u just did

hey i totally agree with the wcwakeskater, i hate trying to please everyone but sometimes i would find it nice to get a little help from people and ride comps with some creditability to my name but riding is riding and i could care less abouth all the fame and buzz but a little help would be great thats all Confused

the only problem with my area is there are no comps, i'm the first person i know with a wakeskate and no one else besides my close friends has even heard of it. Crazy Eyes

Parky, sorry to say but in my books you gotta have skills and be able to talk to people. I may not own a company or anything but it seems to me you care more about recognition than your riding

That's mighty honorable parky!! good luck with the ollies and the shuv-its, keep us updated on your media whore ways.
just a little note, I landed two major sponsorship contract last week, one's a two year deal. I have never competed and never will, and the companies know that. Now I have reputable business supporting me and my business, and enabling me to hook up more riders with free essentials. (gas, food, clothes,etc.) It's all abut making friends in good places. peace

I dont know what you ment by the u need skills to talk to ppl but w\e look man if theres anytime to be worrying about resumes and videos its in the off season... yes I have sponsors no im not sticking anything sick but nick like you said on msn you cant really judge people on this site since you just seeing what they type and not what there really doing on the water or how involed they really are in the sport?. sim, dude I dont know what your problem is.... I guess you must be such a good rider that you can really say something like work on those oilles and shuvs, like what are you to good to be doing those tricks Laughing and just becuase im sponsored and I try to support them the best I can, are you telling me with those two sponsorships your going to do jackshit with it? not even ride there gear?...
