i think it is possible if people can do a nose blunt then surely if you cut out and while you are still cutting so the board is facing way away from the boat kinda at a 90 degree angle with the way the boat is going i would say you could probably pop one like that
if you get what im sayin tell me |

5 inches catalyst, my sincerest apologies...and honestly, if there is any decent pop, it's because the fakie big spin is basically cheated around. You know, you start spinning on the water and then you do the shove (watch byerly in blacklist). If you pop a hard nollie (or fakie ollie) without spinning first, your nose WILL dive (unless I'm doing something wrong here). So, do you think someone could fakie big spin over that bar they had in asterisk (without cheating)?
And I'm entitled to my opinion, regardless of whether or not I can do the trick. That's like saying you're not allowed to be an art critic if you can't create anything like picasso or warhol. Give me a break... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

how is anything cheating when in this sport when there arent any rules. If ur comparing it to skateboarding sure whatever but even then everyone turns to help them get around. No on hits a pyramid dead on and jumps off to the side. No one goes perfectly straight off a jump on a snowboard and then turns mid air they all wind up. but you know your entitled to your opinion. But hey im done with this. so lets all move on and go get a coke hahaha _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

electricsnow, have you even tried them? if you have, i dont know what youre doin to make it dive.
if you do a nollie just like a skateboard, pop off your front foot and all that with its bag of chips, you will pop, but it will look like a crappy ollie.
opinions are good, but it seems that alot of people on here just think this will happen or guess that will happen. |

heywood, I tried to do nollie shoveits about two years ago. the only way I was able to make anything work was out of the lipslide position...and I don't know that I'd call it a nollie shoveit, but whatever. I was riding a flat at the time and in retrospect, I was probably too far forward (I've never tried them on a concave...the rails are different and that might make a difference)...it was a long time ago and it's hard to remember what exactly happened, but it didn't work out.
Catalyst, Yeah, I still think it's a cheat. winding your upper body is completely different (in my eyes) from turning the board before you start the trick. But as you said, whatever, that's just me. And I'm drinking a coke right now, actually...anything else will make me choke... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

haha nice way to finish that. whats that from? when i do em im poping down almost direct but what i do is a do like a carve out one way and then quickfly shift back sorta like i goes what you might do if ur trying air tantrums like quick edge switches. It looks way different when you see one in real like though pictures are deceiveing. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

Ahhh, it's an old song by the faction. They used that song in alex chalmer's part in "sorry." I think it's interesting that he didn't even choose that song...he had this mini interview in the latest tws and it was like he was some sort of marketing puppet to them...it didn't sound like he makes many choices over at flip, but whatever. It's a good song though... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I've been riding a gate (cable only) for a few weeks now, and have tried a few nollies on the flat. Not had too much luck, the board just sucks down onto the water. I can nollie a skateboard fine, but it doesn't feel anything like that.
Saying that, when I do fakie 180 ollies my feet are in the nollie position and I kind of push down on the nose first, so maybe it can be done? I guess it's a completely different story on the wake though...
If it can be done on anything, it'll be on The Gate.... |

my theory i guess now after hering argument over argument is straigh nollies can probably be done itll just take someone with alot of determination or maybe some new board designs but with the pressent designs nollie and fackie bigspins, 180s anything where your gonna move your body will work. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |
