They always say you shouldn't be out on the water in lightning. I was out this spring in some and the tower was sketching me out. I was just wondering if anybody had heard of someone or some boat getting struck?

I went wakeskating in the rain this summer behind my friends boat which has a tower...it was cool until it started lightning...we had to book 'er back to the dock...rain hurts when you're going fast too.

if there were people in the boat I have a hard time believing thats all that happened if it did infact strike the boat.

You're risking your life if you ride around lightning. Just remember this rule, if you can hear thunder you can be struck by lightning. Even if the storm is far away.

Vance Collins, If you were political I could call you a fear monger Laughing

Me and Jimmy Chadsey were out during the sickest electric storm ever for like an hour. It was crazy how close the lightning got and the thunder was like someone had 48 inch speakers and amps all around us Crazy Eyes

It didn't even rain, it was just lightning bolt after lightning bolt all around us. But I didn't feel like getting hit by lightning, so all was good.
